Quick Trip to Croatan Beach!!

During my birthday week last year (in 2017), I took a quick trip down to Croatan Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia to celebrate the Japanese Tradition of Suikawari with a good friend of mine!

The day began with a wonderful beach Mei Cosplayer!!

First there was the cosplay shoot, where the winds and hot sand did little to obstruct us from the gorgeous ocean views

Then we practiced a bit of tradition!!

Afterwards we made sure to clean up and enjoy some of the watermelon so that it wouldn't go to waste!!
